An excellent clay litter product. Well, no wonder. “Fresh Step Premium Clay Cat Litter” is the best of the clay litter products (IMHO)–it is made by Clorox! The advertisement (cat stepping into the litter) suggests that with each step, freshness (pleasant odor) is created. When wet (meaning obvious), the blue crystals create a clean, “fresh” aroma, kind of like Clorox….I buy the 20-30 pound bag which fills three litter tubs and lasts for 2 weeks if I frequently remove the waste products. Even though “Fresh Step” is more expensive than most other brands, I think it is worth it. Oh yes, it kicks off minimum “dust,” making it doubly desirable. “Fresh Step’–is there any other way? Purrfect! I bought this bulk litter crystals because I bought the Forever Litter Tray. I haven’t set up the tray yet, as I had one month left of the filler boxes for the automatic litter tray. Perfect!, I’ve been using this stuff for over a year now and there is nothing wrong with it, if used properly. If you want to keep the litter box area odorless, AND I DO MEAN ODORLESS, you can use half of this bucket for two weeks at a time. The price caused me to hesitate but eventually once I gave it a go, I decided it was MORE than worth the money in the long run…..no odor and the litter lasts for ages ….just scoop out the fecal matter and the white crystals seem to absorb the urine on their own….I don’t know how this happens but it’s truly amazing. Great with automatic litter boxes. This is by far the best litter I’ve tried. I have 2 automated cat boxes ‘including’ Scoop Free Automatic Self Cleaning Litter Box, but have had a really hard time finding litter that works well with them and lasts more than a few days. (I have 2 cats). I was given a free bag of this litter at a local outdoor festival. The woman told me it should last 2 months with 1 cat. I was skeptical, but it has been great. The crystals are small and light weight, so it works well with both boxes. And with two cats it definitely lasts a month. Kate Creamer

Good product. We have always had 2 cats in the house….We have a Littermaid box so clumping properties are important. Due to allergies the amount of dust is also an important factor. We have found that this litter is one of the best. There is a minimum of dust when filling the box….The Littermaid has no problems scooping this litter either. it has held up to our cats quite well. The multiple cat formula has done a super job of keeping the smell down…We highly recommend the multiple over regular. Kendrick

I just bought Pestell Clear choice cat litter and so far so good. I was afraid my two kitties would not use it because when I put it in their litter box, they both just kept staring at it. After my one used it, he came out of the box and just kept staring at it. I’m hoping they like it, right now it’s hard to tell. The one BIG plus I can see right now is no tracking and hopefully no more dusty kitty footprints all over my wood floors.
